My human brothers got a new tv for their room over the weekend. (*) Mom has been reading about all the kitties who like new boxes, so she decided to put me in it.
As you can tell, I was not thrilled. I keep telling her I just don't like boxes like other kitties. I've GOT to be able to see what's going on.
Now THIS, this is MUCH better!
And the fact that I got up here all by myself (no human put me here) has nothing to do with my happiness!
* Mom & Dad got the new tv because there was not enough room for the tv that was in there & the computer that was given to my brothers. This tv has a pc hookup, so they don't need the monitor. They went to ::big electronics store:: to get it, haggled over the price, which model...blah, blah, blah. When they brought out the tv Mom & Dad realized, there is no cable to hook it to the computer. So, they buy the tv which has a pc hook up but no cable & have to go to Staples to get it. SSSOOO, reason for sharing this, IF you ever decide to get a tv with a pc hook up, make sure you get the cable!

The only thing I've noticed is you have to make sure it says your comment has been saved at the top before you close it out.
Oreo, you are like a Husky - we don't like being inside doghouses. We must have doghouses with flat roofs, so that we can lay on top of them!
Are you eating birds on the side, Oreo? You're looking a mite pudgy. Remember to hide the feathers and beak or Mom will notice! Remember--the extra weight just proves your prowress as a hunter, Oreo.
It's okies if you like on the box instead of in the box, Oreo. Everycat's different. And who wants to be put anywhere anyways! Don't the humans understand that!!! You look all handsome on that red box anyways :)

::Total Indignation:: I most certainly am not gaining weight!!!! I'm just getting my winter coat & a little tinny bit of a fat layer for the winter. Besides, I had just had my whole can of tinky yummy goodness!!

I think you look divinely perfect on top of that box! You didn't look fat to me. It just looked like the position you were in because that happens to me too! I prefer tops of boxes to inside boxes too. Nothing wrong with that. (And red is definitely your color!)
I think the Oreo is spending too much time with the catnip and in danger of becoming a filthy hippy!

The red box shows off your tuxedo real nice, Oreo. You do look all halloweenie with your eyes narrow like that. You'd scare a ghosty!
