Lowe's Motor Speedway Charlotte, NC

Momma is going to call that old doctor's office AS SOON as they open this morning so she can find out what's going on with Jeremy's blood work. She will update as soon as she knows anything.
UPDATE: Just got the word from the Dr. He has Mono of all things! I'd love to know where he got it! He has to go back on Wed. for more blood work & May 1st for a chest X-ray for the pneumonia. AARRRGGG!!!

Happy Purrthday to mine Mom's Mom! She am ancient...uh I mean, 54 today! So, hope you have a furry good day. Love, your FIRST grandcat!

OK, so Mom & Dad went to Charlotte with Dad's uncle Doug (& aunt Linda!) for a BIG, HUGE, carshow. Mom said it was unreal the amount of cars that were there!

Here am my Momma in one of the turns of the track. She couldn't believe the banking!

Somebody hit the wall & messed up that purrty paint job!

This is a Roush engine. A 402IR. Momma wants this for her Mustang. If any of you puddins is rich, please buy it for her so she'll shut up! It's only $20,000.

They auctioned off one of Dale Jarret's old cars down there. Momma laughs everytime she sees this cause the sticker in the window said as is, no warranty! Go figure!

This am a goose that was hangin out outside their room Saturday morning. No they did NOT bring it back for me! Just one more thing to be mad about.....

Mom was unpacking all the crap that they took with them & she set the bag on the bed. When she came back, I was in it. They won't leave me overnight again!

This was all from Friday evening & Saturday morning. Tomorrow I'll tell you why mine Mom is the luckiest purrson in the world & where they went on Saturday!

You tell 'em Oreo. Don't let them go again and if they do, DEMAND THEY BRING YOU SOMETHING! Hope your brother gets to feeling well soon. Mom says it can take awhile to get your energy back after having that mono stuff. Make sure he rests, Oreo!

I'm glad your parents enjoyed their trip to Charlotte, Oreo. It's a nice city.

I didn't get mono until I was 35. I know what Jeremy is going through. It feels worse when you're older--maybe that's why most people get it when they're in their teens.

I had mono when I was 16 - I don't know how I got it, either (no boyfriend around at the time! harumph!) I actually diagnosed myself because I wasn't traditionally sick. But then I was just tired ALL THE TIME. I was sleeping through classes, sleeping the moment I came home from school... My doctor didn't think I had it either (Mom was mad because the blood test cost $60). Then he called me a couple of days later and said I DID have it. I had to take it really easy for another month or two to get over it.

Hope he feels better soon. That's just too much stuff to hit a guy all at once!

I'm so glad that it is only mono. I had that as an adult, about 5 or 6 years ago. It wasn't fun. I've been thinking about you guys constantly and I am very sorry that your son has mono, but I'm also very thankful for your family that it is nothing that is a super big deal.

Hope Mr. J feels better soon. You give him some good kitty snuggles and make him feel all better.

Your human beans look like they wuz havin' lots of fun in Charlotte. You got the right ider by sneakin' into the suitcase.

One smart kitty.
