My Mom has a message for everyone, so I'm gonna take the remote & lay back & watch animal planet while she talks to you................
Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts & prayers, they are truly appreciated. I got the results of my EKG yesterday. I DO have a heart murmur. They said it's mild valveular (sp?) disease. I need to set up another appointment to go in & have them explain all this.....please keep me in your prayers in the meantime. Thanks again!
What do you mean you want the remote back??? No, it's mine......fine, you're bigger than me.......take it!
On another note, Mom went shopping for my secret paw yesterday, it was an interesting experience for her. She got the purresent all wrapped up & ready to go & I put my stinky rub all over the box so when ******* gets it he/she/it/they will know it is from me. Mom is going to the post office later to send it, YAY!!

Take care of yourself...
Thanks for staying in touch and for you kind words of late.
Hi Oreo's mom,
Well, I'm glad it's a mild heart murmur. My mom and I read a little about mild valvular disease online, and it sounds like if you diagnose it and start treatment early, before symptomes become apparent, you can control it and prevent future problems, and that is very good news! Your mom has to keep taking care of herself, but it sounds like if she listens to the doctor and takes her medicine she will be okay. We will keep her in our woofies, I mean, prayers.
Oreo: please thank your Mom for letting us know how she's doing. Please let her know she is in our prayers, and we just know that she'll get the best possible care she so richly deserves.
You're a good cat. Take care of her and make her feel loved. I know you don't do dishes or anything, but a few extra face-rubs every day will make her feel better.
We'll keep you in our thoughts and purrayers. Fortunately, it is mild. Take care.

Uh-oh. I've heard that cats cause heart murmurs--or is it warts? Maybe gout? In any case, I hope your Mom can keep you around, Oreo. While it's best for all the blood to go in the right direction through the heart, a little slippage can be tolerated. I wish all the best for her. And you too, Oreo---you know how much I adore cats!
Kitties don't cause stuff like that like Utenzi said, Kitties are the medicine for it!
my Mom has a muurmur in her heart too for years now and is just fine. my Mom is goin' shoppin' saturday for secret paws plus we ordered somethin' online! it's so exciting!
Good that it's mild, now your Mom can keep on top of it. It's still scary...no pooping on anything for a while, dude!
I'll go poop on something here, to make up for the pooping you shouldn't do for a while. 'Cause, you know, sometimes you gotta be nice to people.
Will be thinking of you, Mom...And I hope Oreo is a great comfort....You be good to Mom, now...she needs a lot of TLC!!!
My sister had one of those but I don't think it's the same for us. But I don't know. Just give your mom extra kisses and that will keep her safe!
Oh! I'm sorry you got a mumbling heart, Oreo's Mom. We'll say lotsa purrayers for you. But we got a sixth kitty sense feeling (Boni's here too!) that it'll mumble but you'll be ok. We hope the bean vets are nice to you when they do their test thingies and you don't get shot.
Oreo, please nuzzlesmooch your Mom for us. Nuzzlesmooches always help! And sorry you had to give up the remote. It's a pain sometimes that the Mommies are lots bigger than us.
Sorry about the murmur, but glad it's not too bad. Mom and I are saying prayers for you. Snuggles to you.
