Hey Momma. I know you've been wanting to read this book that you just got. But the kids have been off two days this week & you've had so much work to do......well, the house is clean, the laundry is folded & the kids are gone, but guess what?????

Now it's MY turn, RUB ME!! I need attention, you aren't getting this book till I've had my fill! I'll stretch ALL the way across it if I have to........

Good going Oreo, block her from getting at her book until you are satisfied.
I hope she gave you your tummy rubs and pats Oreo! When my mom isn't paying enough attention to me I walk right up to her and say "Hello". If that doesn't work, I say "I love you". That always doest the trick!
Read the book, Mom. There's always time for Oreo.
Welcome to BE and Blog Rocket, H&O.
Y'know, you could teach your mom to multitask. It is perfectly possible to rub tummy and turn pages at the same time.
Sitting on books is fun!
i love dean Koontz!! i have fallen asleep with my book enough times that i know his books are comfy!
michele sent me.
Oooh - our Mom reads Dean Koontz & Stephen King, too. She calls it her escape from reality. We agree with gigolokitty though, make her pay attention to you!
