Psychokitty started it all!

How did you get started blogging? My story is kind of drawn out so bear with me please!! I read Get Fuzzy everyday. One day they had a link on there to another cat-toon called the Mows. Now, if you go all the way to the bottom they have a link on there to The PsychoKitty. So, I go over to see this kitty & I loved him! Max is a member of The Tuxedo Gang so I joined that. Tuxedo Timmy is in it & he got me started thinking even more. Once I started really reading what the other kitties were writing & doing I realized I had stories to tell too, so, here I am. Do you have as much fun blogging as I do? (Even if it is hard to type with no fingers!)

We started blogging after Mom initially found Prince Muddy Paws site then we started reading Timmy's and kept bugging Mom til she helped us with our own blog.

M&G,
I just found Muddy myself! Timmy gets a lot of kitties into it I think. Wonder who got him started?!?!

Karen,
I like your site, you sound like my Mom. She linked to you in her section of my blog!!

Janet,
Thanks for coming. And for playing my game!! :)

Oh my goodness, that's too funny. I started blogging the same way! Actually, my hubby introduced me to the Mows (although I do read Get Fuzzy) and I followed the link from there to PsychoKitty. I followed his link to his mom, Thumper, and then her link to the Domestic Engineer. That's when I finally decided to start one of my own.

None of my cats have their own blog yet, but I'm pretty sure Maestro might be thinking about it. We'll have to see if he can fit it in between naps.

Geekwif,
HAHAHA, that's too much! Oh, Oh, tell Maestro to wake up & blog. It's fun, he'll like it!

My fellow Husky blogger Meeshka is the one who inspired me to start my own blog. You can see her site at meeshkaworld.blogspot.com, it's very funny!

I love blogging! I have also met so many nice doggie and kitty bloggers, it's very cool!

Timmy got us going too. We didn't for the longest time have our own blog, but we made comments everywhere. Timmy told us to get with it and get a blog! It just snowballs from there...the more you go to the more you find!

We started blogging because mom had been thinking about a family website featuring me so relatives could check in on what's going on without having to call/write. Then blogging became popular and mom likes journaling, so then she thought I should have my own blog site so we set up a basic one. Then mom did a search for cat blogs and found Muddy, Timmy, Max, Deep, Ginger, and William. That gave us ideas about things to add to our site, but we didn't need ideas about topic. I ALWAYS have a lot to say on my own! hehe The rest is history! (And I've made really good friends so thanks to everyone!)

Oreo,

I started to read Max's blog because I, too, saw it at the bottom of "Get Fuzzy" this spring. I enjoyed it so much that I started to read his blog everyday---I even bought his book! (The potty-mouthed version. I'd recommend it to anyone.) From Max's I started to read Thumper's; then Buddah's (after he started to blog). Of course, by then, I had started to follow some of the links on Max's page. It doesn't take long to feel like you're reading the musings of a good friend. Some are very serious, others light-hearted, and an occasional thought-provoking editorial.

I usually just lurk; but, your story of how you go started is very close to mine. I don't have a blog; but, I do have four indoor (only) kitties that I love very much. I'd better go disappear....

I started blogging because the Woman kept telling stories about me online and someone had to tell the truth!

For the record, Bucky from Get Fuzzy is my hero, and my day is not complete without the Mows. I am still upset about the real-life Tigey. Not that I'm soft or anything...

Spock said...

Yeah, I'm glad my Mom doesn't have a blog or she would SURELY tell lies about me! My day is not complete without Bucky! What ever happened to the real Tigey? I know he's not with us but I didn't see what happened....
