I was looking through the pictures to see what I could find to post (I've REALLY got to stop doing that!) & I saw this purrty girl here.
Mom said it was my Grandpa-in-law's new cat. Dang, a cousin or something...guess I won't have a new girlfriend in her huh?!
The I saw this picture & Mom said I better stop looking or I was going to end up mad. Why? Cause those hands look awful familiar, THAT'S why!!!
Now my Dad is holding strange kitties! I can't believe it! And, and, and, he's not just holding her....they're taking a nap together!
Mom, Dad, just leave me alone, I'm not speaking to either of you right now........

oh no - napping wif anofer kitty is furry furry bad. did you smell the ofer kitty on your daddy? she's purrty, but that's not excuse to cheat on you.
I know how you feel Oreo. When my Mom comes in with the smell of another cat on her, I ignore her too!

I think she could still be your sweetie--I don't think the way it works for humans is the way it works for us. Plus, you clearly have an in with your dad!
I just hate it when bad things like that happen on John Frum Day. :-( Poor Oreo.
It is important that your girlfriend gets along with you Mom and Dad, so I wouldn't rule things out yet... But he still should have asked you first.

Don't worry Oreo, I bet your dad was just making a good impression on her (and I agree with William, she may be a little bit related but it's pretty far removed). You should still see if she's interested. Or, uh, I could talk to her for you... ahem...

I think it's nice that when your Dad needed a nap and you weren't there, she helped him sleep. Mom always says she sleeps better with me there.
Don'r feel too bad. Sometimes my People come home smelling like random kitty trash. Or worse--DOG!
