MY NAME WAS OREO

I was 8 weeks old when Momma found me.
I was in the paper, free to good home.
She came to see me & picked me up
& instantly I was loved.

As we drove she picked my name.
He looks like an Oreo cookie she said
& on the radio a commercial came.
Wouldn't you know it, Oreo's!
And I knew I was loved.

I SO liked to play & chase things.
She bought me lots of toys.
She cuddled with me all the time
& I knew I was loved.

She brought me home a girlfriend,
she was fixed, or so we thought,
a few months & 6 kittens later
& still, I was loved.

We moved a few times,
I met new people & saw new places.
She was always there to comfort me
& I knew I was loved.

My human brothers drove me crazy
so loud & noisy.
But they rubbed & cuddled
& played with me
& I knew I was loved.

We met my Daddy 8 years ago
& we moved to his home.
Lots of space to run & chase
& I knew I was loved.

I started to slow down some,
getting older you know.
So they held me closer
& rubbed me more
& I knew I was loved.

I started a blog & met lots of cats
from all over this great big world.
I made lots of friends who cared for me
& I knew I was loved.

I got really sick last week
Momma took me to the vet.
Try this they said &
she tried so hard
& I knew I was loved.

Today I left my Momma
& she is so very sad.
I'm in a better place, she knows.
She helped me to get here,
held me close & hugged me tight
& I knew I was loved.

I was a good, good kitty
Momma told me so,
she asked Jesus to comfort me
& gave me up to Him,
& I knew I was loved.

I'm glad she did,
I'll wait here for her.
Till we're together again
I know that I am loved.

Dood, I'm betting I get there before your Mom, so make sure you find all the good stuff--because I'm pretty sure there's all the Stinky Goodness a guy could want, and the BEST kitty crack--so you can show it to me when I get there. Oh, and gather up all our kitty friends who are already there for a wicked loud game of Thundering Herd of Elephants. We'll hear you down here, I'm sure of it.

You were definitely loved, dood, even by kitties and people who never met you fur to fur.

There is never a good time to say good-bye to someone we love. A thousand years could go by...and...it's still never enough...never enough. I've held many a paw that had to leave me and with the passing a piece of my heart was torn and gone. Oreo, yes, knew he was love and he loved you. I truly believe with all my heart that if there is a Heaven, we will be met at the time of our death by all those we have loved and lost...animal, as well as human.

My deepest sorrow for your loss. I know the cold wind that blows through your soul.

"Lost love is still love... It takes a different form, that's all. You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken, another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it. Life has to end. Love doesn't."

Came from Psychokitty:

You had a great life. Lots of kitties don't get that chance..especially those "free to good homes" kitties. You were one of the lucky ones.

Thank God your mama saw that ad and came and got you. And what a cutie you were.

Your mama is hurting right now but she'll be ok because she'll see you again one day. Then you'll get to hug and cuddle forever.

Sounds like Orea had the best time on this planet. I am so sorry for the loss of such a beloved pet. I know you must be devastated as my poor cat Bob was diagnosed with lymphoma last week and it felt like the world crashed around me. We love them so much but the great thing is, that they know theya re loved as your poem says. I bought my cat home after the vets adn he was purring in his sleep. I may only be giving him some quality of time for whatever time he has left but I know he is happy. I am so sorry for your loss.

Oreo, you were one of the firstest blogs I read. You were so cool, I even had a little crush on you (before my sweetie, of course), and mama and I love your mama Heather so much. We know you are happy, and united with a lot of other cool kitties that we miss. But we are going to send hugs and hugs to your mama, cause of the hole in her heart where you were, and hope that hole fills up with all the memories you had together, and she will smile when she sees the rainbows you send her until she reunites with you at last.

Oreo, you ARE loved, not only by your momma, but by people like me who don't blog, only read them. You brought me much joy. Fank you. I just know you're at the Rainbow Bridge. I have a couple kids up there ... Ollie, the longest, leanest cat I've ever seen. He loved me to pieces, hated my husband. My first born, Orphan, she's up there, she was 24 when she went over. She will take good care of you, she always did like the boys. And my Winnie, my black lab who was afraid of water and who loved the ducks in our backyard. He will watch over you and take very good care of you. He loved his kitties. Oreo, you brought much joy to a lot of people and we love you. Fanks for the memories. And to your Mom, what a beautiful poem to a wondrous kitty.

This show used to be good, very personal, sometimes a bit melodramatic, but always filled with strong characters and interesting story arcs. happy death day full However, ever since the Negan plot started, this has changed. Built up as a super villain who radiates domination, he instead turned out to be a harmless rocker who switches between "nice uncle from next door" to "bat swinging psycho killer" whenever the script demands it.

Negan was supposed to surpass the Governour in terms of cruelty and malice, but in my opinion he doesn't even get close. The Governour had charisma, style, and above all, a real reason for all his experiments; his daughter. We still don't know why or how Negan came to be. the devil's candy release date Season 6 was full of chest-pounding and inevitably doomed plotting by the heroes, but it was still fun to watch them descend into mass murder. Especially Carol had incredibly intense moments. watch Avengers Infinity War online Season 7, after the reveal of Negan, turned out to be a super slow recuperation with the nice uncle coming over for spaghetti. They tried to show how he controls his people with rules and by burning them and so on, but overall it was a super tame story with "Soon(TM)" all over it.

Instead of fixing that in season 8, they now bury the show in one action episode after another. And its not the somewhat smart action we saw in earlier seasons, but 80's style A-Team nonsense action. Cars are bullet sponges, ammo is thrown around like its World War II, a .50 caliber machine gun mows down 50 people with ease but can't hit one dude in a Jeep, and there is no stopping to all the shooting. Even when people are having a quiet moment to talk, you hear often hear shooting in the background. Happy death day 2017 We rarely have those epic Daryl moments anymore, Rick has become a a hollow shell of a leader, Carl seems to be on vacation. Several other iconic characters were lost and have been replaced with cardboard gunmen.

The Walking Dead needs to stop playing World War Z, cease its nation building, and return to what made it great. Everyday survival by interesting characters in a hostile world.
